Edge of Liberty Craft Fair - August 21, 2022

As we move into the second half of our farm stand and craft fair season, it's another time of transition.
The furious frenzy of planning, planting, and tending in cold spring rains and an unbearably hot and dry summer, has turned to a time of bountiful harvest (and weeds) and coexisting with the nature that surrounds us here at the Edge of Liberty. We're overjoyed to see the monarchs on our milkweed and wonder at the eagles soaring over our squash field while begrudgingly cleaning up the deer-vastation of our hosta plantings and mourning the loss of our entire sweet potato harvest to evolved bunnies who've learned how to get through rabbit fencing.
Fifteen crafters and artisans will be joining us on Sunday, August 21 on what should be a glorious fall day for the fourth of the six craft fairs we have scheduled for 2022. Read all the details about them and their amazing products below.
We hope you will join us and be part of our community!

About Us
The Edge of Liberty is a four acre farm that we purchased because the neighborhoods surrounding it wanted to preserve the rural feeling of Liberty Township and stop it from being developed. Since it was a community effort to keep it rural, we want the community to get a chance to enjoy it...together! Events and services at The Edge of Liberty are centered around creating and maintaining a sense of community and preserving that hometown rural feeling that made us all fall in love with this area. In addition to the community garden that we started last season and a weekly farm stand of produce grown in our market and pollinator gardens to help defray costs of maintaining the property, we're providing this monthly outlet for members of the community to sell their handmade goods and to give you an opportunity to share good times with friends and neighbors. Help us celebrate life and create happiness! See you on Sunday, August 21!
