Open Farm - May 23
Our Open Farm events are for all of our neighbors in Liberty Township and surrounding communities to come enjoy some sunshine, take a walk through nature, and see what's going on in our Community Garden.
Walk our trails and wonder at native species. See how our "wall of sunflowers" and "corn field" are doing this early in the season. See what is thriving in our market garden and flower & herb garden. What a perfect place to wonder at God's creation on your way home from church.
For this event we'll be selling fresh cut herbs from our pollinator garden at $3/bunch. We have peppermint, oregano, thyme, Chinese chives, cilantro, and scallions. BCF will have a table where you can purchase hand made bath salts, lip balm, sunflower seeds for planting, and dried herbs.
The Edge of Liberty is a four acre farm where we've been celebrating life and creating happiness since 2016. One Sunday every month we invite you to come walk about and be curious. This property was purchased because the community wanted to preserve the rural feeling of Liberty Township, so we want the community to get a chance to enjoy it, celebrate life, and create happiness.
This is your last chance to see our gardens before the Porter County Master Gardener's Association Garden Walk on June 26 - an annual event that we're proud to be part of this year. So much changes in one month, so make sure you get your tickets to see six gorgeous local gardens, including ours.
