Open Farm & Craft Fair - October 24
We're winding down our growing season here at the Edge of Liberty and there's only two months until Christmas! Perfect time to pick up some fresh produce, do some shopping, and take a lovely walk through nature to enjoy the beautiful fall colors. This is our fourth and final Open Farm & Craft Fair for the 2021 season and we hope it is our best one yet. What we need to do that is you!
Since the Porter County Master Gardener's Garden Walk in late June, thousands of people have walked through our gardens and visited with us and twenty different local home-based vendors on the fourth Sunday of the month. We've loved meeting all of you and hope to see you one more time on October 24 before we all hibernate for winter.
This is a great opportunity to support your entrepreneurial neighbors and to beat the global supply-chain issues that are going to make Christmas gift-giving so much more difficult this year. If you're normally a last-minute shopper, we urge you to plan ahead, shop local, support ultra-small businesses, and give incredibly unique gifts made right in your own home town.
Where are you? We're conveniently located on old 49 (Calumet) a mile north of Valparaiso and mile south of the drive-in theater, right on the edge of Liberty Township.

All vendors either accept credit cards personally, or can accept payments through our "Pay With Paypal" button on our home page, but would prefer cash.

The Edge of Liberty is a four acre farm that we purchased because the neighborhoods surrounding it wanted to preserve the rural feeling of Liberty Township and stop it from being developed. Since it was a community effort to keep it rural, we want the community to get a chance to enjoy it...together!
Events and services at The Edge of Liberty are centered around creating and maintaining a sense of community and preserving that hometown rural feeling that made us all fall in love with this area. In addition to the community garden that we started this season, we're providing this monthly outlet for members of the community to sell their handmade goods and to give you an opportunity to share good times with friends and neighbors.
