Food Trucks at The Edge of Liberty

We charge a very small fee for space at our events to offset the cost of restroom rental and advertising.  You can reserve your space at an event by purchasing here.  If your mobile setup requires larger than 12 x 12 please specify in special instructions and we will reserve two spaces for the same price.

We see somewhere between 100 and 200 cars in our parking lot during our Sunday events, and this has been increasing over time with improved weather, marketing efforts, signage, and customer recommendations. We are growing and want to partner with other local entrepreneurs to grow our businesses together.

When you reserve in our online store, you are guaranteed to be the only food truck at the event serving savory foods.  We have a secondary option for one additional truck to serve only sweets or snacks.  We do not want to dilute your business with many other options - that's not fair to you. 

We know a lot of food trucks prefer guaranteed traffic or deposit to show up to a private event. We are a not for profit, community-focused private business and we simply do not have the funds to do that.

What we do have is a great location and a great day of the week. We're between Valparaiso and four different churches on old IN-49 and county road 600N with a well-loved 100+ year old Bible verse sign on the corner ...and we're open on Sundays.

We do a pretty good job of on-line marketing and will add you to this page with links to your website and Facebook page to help your search engine presence. If you book early enough, we can send out a mailing to our website subscribers and will post to our 1000+ Facebook fans. 

We can also provide you access to fresh ingredients in season during the event.

Go to our online store and choose the Community Product area.  There you will see the available dates for either Featured Food Truck or Sweets/Snacks truck.

Set up can start as early as 9 am on your scheduled date.  We encourage early set up and require that you be ready to open at 9:30 on craft fair days.

We are open to the public on Sundays from 9 am to 3 pm, May through October, so you can most certainly stop by during one of our published events.  If this time is not good for you, we've made it convenient for you to set up an appointment for a private tour just below the reservation link.  Or you can just click here.

Food vendors are placed centered between the tent area and the community garden.  There are benches, picnic tables, and trash cans in the shade nearby for your customers.  If you have a flag for your business we can place this at the road for more visibility.  On craft fair days, setup can start after 8 am and we ask that our featured food truck be ready to serve before 9:30 am to give our craft vendors and their helpers time to purchase items from you before the customers arrive.  Events are advertised through 3 pm; please let us know if you need to leave earlier.
